Dean studied at the University of Canberra and graduated with a Bachelor & Master of Architecture in 2012. Prior to this Dean also completed an Advanced Diploma in Building Design at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Dean brings a contemporary design approach to all his projects and aims to deliver sustainable, functional and creative solutions addressing the needs of his clients.

Over the past decade we have proven ourselves across many projects and building typologies through rigorous and innovative outcomes with a commitment to design excellence. Our diverse experience includes award winning projects in residential, mixed use / commercial and educational projects across all scales.

Kensit Architects Pty Ltd are a Canberra based Architecture Practice operating within the ACT and surrounding regions, led by architect Dean Kensit.

Our philosophy at Kensit Architects is to cater to our client's needs and provide spaces that are enjoyable to live / work in. Our approach with each project is one that is personable and collaborative with the clients aspirations at the forefront.
